Unique underwater drawings have been created by college students diving down and putting pencil to paper for as long as they could hold their breath.
The artworks were created at Waltham Abbey swimming pool in October last year, and will be shown at an Epping Forest College exhibition running from February.
The drawings by artists studying at the college in Borders Lane, Loughton, will be displayed alongside photos and films of their creation.
The underwater experiment using weighted down waterproof paper and normal pencils was held as part of the Big Draw, the world’s biggest drawing festival.
The exhibition, also featuring works by Davenant Foundation School pupils, runs from February 9 to March 31 between 10am and 6pm at the college in Borders Lane.
