Police are appealing for information about a man who went missing in 2003 in a final attempt to trace him.
Sixty-year-old George Davis was last seen by his sister in Woodford on July 5, 2003 and was officially reporting missing a month later.
Before he disappeared he told his sister he was going to live in Jamaica, but there is no information that suggests he travelled there.
Mr Davis was 47 when he went missing.
He is white, with a pale complexion, short mousey blond hair, and blue eyes. He is around 5ft9 and has several tattoos, including ones of a dagger, flower, and a bird.
Detective Constable Terry Smith who is reviewing the case at Redbridge CID said: “This missing person case has never been closed. Having reviewed the investigation, we have decided to launch a final effort to find George.”
George’s sister, Linda, said: "I love my brother and just want him to come home. I need to know after all these years what has happened to him."
