A teenage boy has been arrested today on suspicion of the murder of a teenager in Woodford Green earlier this month.
Aaron Alexander Tavares-Gaiete, 17, was arrested on suspicion of the murder of 16-year-old Munashe Charles Kutyauripo.
He was initially arrested in Margate over an unrelated incident, but will be transferred to a north London police station shortly.
Mr Kutyauripo was fatally stabbed outside Ashton Playing Fields, off Chigwell Road in Woodford Green on Saturday January 9, after attending a 16th birthday party at the social club.
Emergency services were called at around 9.40pm but he later died at Whipps Cross Hospital.
