A body was found in woodland in Lee Valley Park
A body was found in woodland yesterday (February 1) after a police search for a missing man.
Peter Morgan was last seen at Gunpowder Park in Waltham Abbey at 2.20pm, before Essex Police appealed to the public to help find him.
The search for Mr Morgan was suspended after a body was discovered in woodland in Lee Valley Park shortly after 9.20pm.
Last night, formal identification was yet to take place but the police said Mr Morgan’s family had been updated.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
