A man who was caught driving under the influence of drugs, and without a licence or insurance has been banned from driving for a year.

At Thames Magistrates Court yesterday, 32-year-old Michael Thomas Scoular of Liston Way, Woodford Green pleaded guilty to driving along the A12 at Redbridge with ingredients used in cocaine and cannabis in his blood stream.

He also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and third party insurance on 27 November, 2015.

He was fined £385 and banned from driving for the next 12 months.
