A London Assembly candidate has written to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to voice her concerns over flight path changes.
Labour’s London Assembly candidate for Havering and Redbridge Ivana Bartoletti has written to the CAA asking for a noise impact assessment of the changes in flight paths from London City Airport, which are due to start flying over Wanstead, Leyton, and Leytonstone today.
She said: “Many residents have contacted me over the last few months with their worries about the flight path changes at City Airport, and I think it's only fair to assess how any increase of noise will impact them.
“I would like to see an honest and transparent analysis of how the changes will impact on our families and their environment.”
The CAA has been contacted for comment.
