The chief executive of Redbridge Council could be earning as much as £194,658 a year, documents have revealed.
Redbridge’s head of paid service, Andy Donald’s starting salary is £160,149, according to documents for this Wednesday’s remuneration and staffing committee meeting.
Members of the committee will vote on how much Mr Donald should be paid at the meeting later this week.
The information has been released in line with the government’s statutory requirements, which require local authorities to publish their senior staff’s salaries every year.
Mr Donald’s predecessor, Roger Hampson, received £193,301 last year, and £223,478 in 2013 when he made Redbridge town hall’s rich list.
The committee will also vote on whether all staff should be paid the London living wage of £17,100 a year from April 1 onwards.
