A woman was taken to hospital after a motorway crash between two lorries and a car.

The woman, in her 30s, was involved in the collision on the M11 near Epping at about 12.07pm on Friday (February 5).

The woman was treated for back and abdominal pain at the scene by the East of England Ambulance Service.

She was then taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further treatment, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious.

An ambulance spokesman said: “The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 12.07pm today (5th February) to the M11 at Fiddlers Hamlet, Epping, to a report of a collision between two lorries and a car.

“A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and ambulance officer attended.”
