An independent school has received news that 10 of its pupils have offers to study at Oxbridge.

Out of the 134 students at Forest School in College Place, Snaresbrook who sent off university applications last month, 10 have received conditional offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge University.

Providing they meet the grade requirements this summer, they will be studying a variety of subjects, from English to engineering.

The school’s warden, Antony Faccinello, said: “The offers recognise our students’ willingness to go beyond the A level syllabuses, which is very much in line with our ethos of developing a life-long love of learning for its own sake.”
