Almost 200 school students took part in a cultural fusion performance to raise money for their partner school in Cambodia last weekend.
Students from Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green wrote and choreographed a Bollywood version of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice for its annual Taal event, which they performed on Friday and Saturday evening last week.
Ticket sales from last weekend's 14th Taal production will also help raise money for Bancroft’s partner school in Cambodia, Takok Charai.
Deputy head teacher Marwan Mikdadi said: “What a fantastic show.
“I felt privileged to be part of such a spectacular event, with pupils from all year groups and cultures coming together to raise money to support Takok Charai.”
