Two people were taken to hospital this morning (February 11) after a van crashed into a ditch.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 7.25am this morning to the accident in Crown Hill, Upshire, near Waltham Abbey.
An ambulance crew attended, as did the Herts and Essex air ambulance before it was stood down.
The driver of the van was treated for a minor head injury.
The other patient was also treated for minor injuries.
The casualties were then taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further treatment.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “The road traffic accident call came in at 7.25am this morning to Crown Hill, Waltham Abbey.
“There was a vehicle in a ditch, to which we dispatched some resources including an ambulance crew and the Herts and Essex air ambulance, which stood down.
He added: “They did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.”
