Cash, televisions and laptops are all up for grabs in a raffle to help seriously ill people and their loved ones.

St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood, which cares for people with life limiting and terminal illnesses, hopes to raise £35,000 with its annual raffle running until March 22.

With each ticket costing £1 there is a top prize of £3,000, as well as a 50ins television and a brand-new laptop.

The hospice only receives limited NHS funding and relies on donations to provide its care.

St Clare lottery manager Caz Lakey said: “Your support will help St Clare to be there for local families facing one of the hardest journeys of their life, providing care to people with a life-limiting illness, both here at the hospice and in their own home.

“Every ticket sold really will make a difference to local people and their loved ones who need our support, so please buy yours today.”

Tickets are available in St Clare charity shops, at the hospice, from the St Clare team on their Spring Raffle tour and by phoning 01279 773730.

The lucky winners will be picked during a draw at the hospice on March 31.
