London’s largest HIV charity will be screening a documentary about living with HIV at Wanstead Library.
Positive East will be screening 30 years of living with HIV at Wanstead Library on Tuesday February 16 to raise awareness of the virus as part of LGBT History Month.
Matthew Walters of Positive East said: “We hope the screening means people don’t forget about HIV and the loss that it has meant for so many people.
“We hope it raises awareness, as with more gay and bisexual men in the UK being diagnosed with HIV last year than ever before, it’s more important than ever that people fully understand it.”
The screening will begin at 6pm and will be followed by a group discussion.
