PLANS to build four flats on a piece of land in Loughton have been given the go-ahead.
Joint applicants Epping Forest District Council and Estuary Housing Association sought permission for the two-bedroom flats with parking next to Oakley Court, Hillyfields.
The hardsurfaced area is currently used for parking.
Permission had already been given last April but the latest application included minor changes to the site boundary to create a new fire engine turning head, and the external works of the building.
Objections had been raised by Loughton Town Council which considered the design unattractive and inappropriate for the location.
