A rogue pig has returned home after escaping her pen and surprising golfers this morning.
‘Handsome’ Betty was discovered wandering at about midday today at Epping Golf Club in Fluxs Lane.
After amusing a yoga class drinking coffee at the club, the small pig was loaded onto a truck and a manager set out to locate her owners.
Luckily, Will Sjoberg found them nearby and Betty was returned home.
He said: “I just got a call saying there is a pig on the golf course so we loaded her into the truck and took her home, which wasn’t far away really.
“She is happy to be home.”
Look who turned up at yoga @EppingGC Anyone know who this handsome creature belongs to? #escapedpig #yogipig 🐖🐖🐖 pic.twitter.com/utoJG2AuQc
