POLICE have released a picture of a man they believe may be responsible for taking indecent images of women in east London and Essex.
The man was reported to police after he was seen at London Bridge station and a woman complained that she had been filmed on an escalator.
British Transport Police Constable, Rakesh Phian, said: "The woman was going up the escalator with her partner when she felt something tough her from the back. When she turned she saw a male with a video camera filming up her skirt. Her boyfriend challenged the male but the man ran off."
The man is described as 5ft 5ins tall, and white with short cropped hair. He was wearing a white shirt, black trousers, a dark coloured lightweight jacket and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack.
Police are appealing for anyone who has information on him to call the witness appeal line on 7931 5275, quoting the background log B6 of May 9'.
