A BIG Brother contestant from Waltham Forest was arrested during John Reid's visit to the borough last October.
Carole Vincent, 53, of Leytonstone, entered the Channel 4 contest last night.
Ms Vincent is a political activist and a member of Waltham Forest Respect.
Last October Mr Reid visited the Noor-ul-Islam mosque, in Leyton High Road, where he was heckled by extremist Abu Izzadeen.
But before the Home Secretary's visit, Ms Vincent was arrested outside the mosque.
She held up a newspaper with the headline "Drive Out Blair" and said: "Blair needs to go, time to go Mr Reid.
"Time to go the lot of you."
Ms Vincent has been involved in political activism all her life and as well as Respect, is also a member of Unison and the Stop the War coalition.
She said that she is entering Big Brother because she wants to "bring important issues to the public."
