Traffic is queuing between Junctions 27 and 28 on the M25
Three lanes are closed clockwise on the M25 and traffic is queuing past Epping after a van overturned near South Weald.
Traffic is stationary between Junction 26 and Junction 28 following the incident, which took place at around 2.20pm this afternoon (Wednesday, March 23).
Highways England estimates lane closures are causing delays of at least two hours.
The tailback caused by the incident is now close to 12 miles long.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to deal with two people involved in the crash.
However, the pair were unharmed and did not require medical attention.
The carriageway is currently expected to reopen at around 6pm.
