The Women’s Institute (WI) is lending its quilting skills to raise money for a premature baby unit at Whipps Cross Hospital.
The Stow Rangers WI will hold its fundraising raffle in Walthamstow’s Gnome House, in Blackhorse Lane, at 9 pm on Wednesday, April 6.
A large double bed quilt handmade by the Stow Roses goes to the lucky raffle winner with all the money raised going to the neo-natal unit.
Raffle tickets are £1 for singles or £5 for a book and can be bought direct from stowroses@yahoo.co.uk.
