Traffic in South Woodford near the A406 and M11 interchange this morning.
Traffic has come to a standstill after investigation work closed a road following an accident earlier this morning.
The A406 North Circular is closed eastbound between the M11 junction at Charlie Brown’s Roundabout in South Woodford and the A12 junction at Redbridge Roundabout in Gants Hill.
Police were called to a serious accident at 4.30am (Thursday April 28) where the London Ambulance Service treated two people for injuries.
There are long delays, with an average speed of 5mph, through to Gants Hill, Woodford, Snaresbrook and down to Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Chingford.
