Wanstead station was out of action for four hours as a result of signal failures today.
The Central Line has reopened after a signal failure at Leytonstone stopped commuters getting to work this morning.
Trains stopped running between Leytonstone and Hainault at around 8.20am today (Monday May 23).
Commuters in Wanstead, Redbridge, Gants Hill and Barkingside had to find alternative routes either via Woodford or on local busses until 12.25pm.
There is now a good service on the whole of the line.
