A new market, showcasing local producers and artists has enlisted the help of a Great British Bake Off star for its launch.
The East London Makers Market, which will run on the last Saturday of each month, is set to stage its first event at Leyton town hall this Saturday (May 28).
Great British Bake Off 2013 runner up, Kimberley Wilson, will be on hand to launch the market.
More than 20 stalls will be offering local products at the market, including bakers, designers and artists.
There will also be a series of craft workshops, including a masterclass in making your own espadrilles and a free knitting tutorial from designer Debbie Bliss.
The market will run from noon to 6pm.
