A rugby club is seeking new recruits and it is tempting players out of the woodwork with fun evening ‘touch’ sessions.

Chingford RFC has its home on Lea Valley Playing Fields, in Waltham Way, and the club is hoping to attract players of all abilities “regardless of experience”.

Non-contact ‘touch’ rugby sessions for over 17s start today (May 25) at the club from 7.15pm and will continue every Wednesday throughout the summer.

Second team captain, Nick Rumble said: “We are family based and community lead club focusing on the enjoyment of rugby.

“If you haven't played for a while and are looking to get back into the game don’t hesitate to contact.

“The same goes if you’ve recently moved to the area or if you have never played rugby before, just get in touch.”

The club has three senior teams and a junior and minis section with age groups from under 7s up to under 17s.

If you are interested in signing up contact the club via Facebook and Twitter or email Mr Rumble on nickrumble@hotmail.co.uk.
