A MAN has been arrested after 60 cannabis plants were found at a house in a quiet residential road.
The suspected cannabis factory was discovered by police in Prospect Road, Woodford Green yesterday morning (Wednesday May 25).
When officers knocked at the door of the house, they were met with an “overwhelming” smell and a humming noise “commonly associated with the ventilation using to grow cannabis.”
The man seen going into the house was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the suspect’s name, age and address were not yet known.
