A car burst into flames as it travelled on the M11 yesterday (May 25).
Two fire crews were called at 11.49am and attended the blaze on the northbound carriageway near Loughton, between junctions six and seven.
Wearing breathing apparatus, the firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 12.13pm.
The cause was recorded as accidental.
