The next Damien Hirst or Tracey Emin could have been on show yesterday (June 8), as a school transformed into an art gallery.
At Alderton infant and junior schools in Alderton Hall Lane, Loughton, hundreds of children’s artworks were professionally framed, mounted and sold to proud parents.
Karen Warman from the infant’s school office said: “The children really enjoyed it and the parents did as well.
“It was great to be able to see all the artworks they had done in the both the infant and junior schools.”
The event helped raise more than £650 for the school.
