A PRIMARY school is opening its doors to the community for its annual summer fayre on Saturday, June 25.

Wanstead Church Primary School’s family-friendly event, which will start at 11am and run through until 2.30pm, will be held at the school in High Street and offer activities for people of all ages.

Entry is £1 for adults and free for children, with all proceeds raised going to the school’s parent-teacher association.

PTA member Mary Richardson said: “This is a lovely community event and everyone is very welcome.

“We have so many fun things for children to do, from bouncy castles to face-painting, and lots of good shopping and eating for the grown-ups too, a sample sale, craft market, BBQ and Indian food, plus live music from a steel band and local musicians.”
