A woman’s death is being treated as “unexplained” by police.
Emergency services were called to an address in Harrier Way off Farthingale Lane, Waltham Abbey, at 8.25pm last night (June 20).
A woman in her 60s was found unconscious and not breathing, and died at the scene.
The house remained cordoned off this afternoon.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and members of the public reported seeing forensic investigators last night.
The property and its garden have been taped off.
Flowers have been left at the house.
A police spokeswoman would not give any more details.
