Harlow MP Robert Halfon on the Epping Forest result, where 63% voted to Leave: "I congratulate the Vote Leave team for their result.
"In terms of the Epping Forest areas that are part of my constituency, I will do all I can to respect the vote of the people in parliament.
"I backed remain because I was worried about jobs. My big issue was jobs and businesses approaching me across the constituency worried about the effect on jobs.
"My heart said one thing and my head said another. I hugely respect the vote and I trust the people, I'm a huge believer in trusting the people and I will do all I can to respect their wishes."
