Mothers’ union members had a packed day last week as they celebrated 125 years of their group.
On Wednesday (June 22), Upshire Mothers’ Union celebrated the momentous anniversary together at St Thomas’ Church.
The day started with a morning service followed by lunch, and then a talk on Mary Sumner House, the Christian group’s London headquarters.
Members then enjoyed tea and cake at the church.
The group regularly holds community events, including Sunday teas, lunches and fetes.
Branch leader Ann Smith said: “There were lots of things going on.
“We had a nice day, everybody enjoyed themselves.”
