COMMUTERS are being given their morning cup of coffee for free as part of a restaurant’s launch campaign.

People passing through Snaresbrook Station today and tomorrow (July 18 and 19) are in with a chance of a free coffee if they pick up one of Bombetta London’s promotion leaflets.

The new Italian coffee shop, restaurant and deli in Station Approach is due open on August 10 and has already had hundreds of people interested in advanced bookings.

Owners Ben Milne and Joana Anastasiou-Milne are using a third of their new Snaresbrook premises for The Chef’s Deli, which will supply food to restaurant chains including Bill’s, Strada and Prezzo.

The other two thirds will transform into Bombetta, an Italian restaurant concept based on grilled meat from Puglia, Italy.

Mr Milne said: “We have had loads of interest on social media, which is great, we can’t wait for our opening events.

“The delays have been slightly frustrating, but we’re looking forward to it."

The deli, originally expected in May, will open on Friday (July 22) and Bombetta will be selling coffees in the morning from Wednesday (July 20).
