PEOPLE enjoyed some fun in the sun with live music, food and games keeping the crowds entertained at Highams Park Day.
Hundreds attended the festival celebrating the community in Vincent Green, Highams Park, on Saturday (July 16), as temperatures soared to 26c.
Now in its ninth year, The Stow Caledonia Pipe Band kicked it off with a march to Vincent Green, before the mayor of Waltham Forest, Peter Herrington, officially opened the festival.
Community forum group, Highams Park Society organised the festival which was sponsored by Hobson Property Sales and Lettings, in The Avenue, Highams Park.
Music on the day was provided by a new community choir, HarmonyE4, an 8-year-old saxophonist Daruis Condurache, songwriting duo HeadSpace and 21-year-old reggae singer Jake Morris.
