Year six pupils had a ‘rootin’ tootin’’ end to primary school as they performed a Wild West-themed play this week.
The children at Hereward Primary School in Loughton sang, danced and acted in Ye-Ha! for their parents and family members.
After the confident and enthusiastic performance, the pupils were given leavers’ certificates by ex-staff members Kirsty Pavett and Sue White.
Head teacher Matt Woolard and deputy head teacher Renette Fourie then presented trophies to recognise particularly impressive achievements.
Mr Woolard said: “The children in year six have impressed us ever since they joined our school.
“They have achieved a huge amount at Hereward and we wish them all the very best next year and in the future.”
