The van was stolen on the M11 near Sheering
Armed men claimed to be police officers as they stole a van on the M11.
A police helicopter was used to search for the thieves after the robbery on the motorway near Sheering, just before 9.10am on Saturday (July 23).
The white Mercedes Sprinter van was stolen as it travelled northbound between junction seven in Hastingwood and junction eight at Stansted.
The driver and his passenger were unharmed.
Essex Police said there are four suspects armed with a gun, and they were travelling in a silver Ford Mondeo before the robbery.
