A TOTAL of seven men were arrested for firearms offences after reports of a fight involving weapons.
Police were called to Marmion Avenue in Chingford at around 6.45pm on Sunday (July 24) after a man was seen with a firearm.
Armed officers were then called in and a man was stopped and arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A further six men were arrested for firearms offences, making it seven in total who were taken into custody at an east London police station.
No one was injured and enquiries are ongoing.
