THREE cars were involved in a late-night crash at a notorious junction this weekend.
Police were called to Hermon Hill, Wanstead, at 0.48am on Sunday (August 21) to reports of a car crash.
When they arrived at the scene, at the Wellesley Road junction, they found two cars smashed up at the nearby High Street/New Wanstead junction and another in the bushes.
One person was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service to be treated for minor injuries.
The crossroads near Snaresbrook Tube Station is a notorious spot for crashes, with people in the area regularly taking to social media to air concerns about driver safety.
