A 71-YEAR-OLD man is in court today accused of eight sexual offences against children.
Roger Saunders, of Abbotsford Gardens, Woodford Green, is charged with eight counts of sexual assault against boys aged between eight and nine and 11 and 12.
The offences are believed to have taken place in Woodford Green between January 1 2005 and September 20 2006.
The charges include engaging in oral sex with an eight or nine-year-old boy and sexually touching an 11 or 12-year-old.
His case will be heard at Thames Magistrates Court in Bow, after it was adjourned on August 9.
Mr Saunders has not yet entered a plea. The case continues.
