YOUNG adults are being offered the chance to grow their Christian faith during an internship with a church..
St Mary’s Church in Church End, Walthamstow, is offering a 10 month internship to someone looking to serve the community.
Rev Vanessa Conant said the internship will involve working closely with the youth pastors in the discipleship programme.
She said: “The aim of the internship is to give a young person the opportunity to learn and grow in their faith and also to serve the parish of Walthamstow.
“There will be lots of opportunities to reach out to young people.”
The programme is open to 18-24 year-olds and the chosen candidate will be given a monthly allowance of £200 as well as free accommodation.
