POLICE horses are readying themselves for a busy weekend at Notting Hill Carnival with a trip to outer London.
The impressive steeds enjoyed Chingford’s scenic countryside yesterday (August 25) to prepare themselves for a long weekend policing the Notting Hill Carnival.
A total of six horses from the Metropolitan Police’s Central Task Force exercised on the open land for a few hours to get ready for a long shift on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (August 28 to 29).
Police horses regularly come to the outer boroughs before any public order incidents, including football matches, with a Chingford a popular destination for the blue stallions.
