A man from Walthamstow will appear in court next month accused of possessing indecent images of a child.
Paul Upton, of Essex Close, Walthamstow, appeared at Thames Magistrates Court on Wednesday (August 24).
The 48-year-old, who is yet to enter a plea, is accused of three counts of making indecent images of a child on or before February 3 this year.
Mr Upton is accused of possessing of 506 ‘Category C’ indecent images of a child, 73 ‘Category B’ images and 88 ‘Category A’ images, deemed the most extreme examples of child pornography.
The case has been referred to Snaresbrook Crown Court, where he will next appear on Thursday, September 22.
