A TEENAGER has been charged with weapon offences after officers found him in a park with a knife.
The 17-year-old boy was stopped by police in Claybury Park near Woodford Bridge on Sunday, August 28.
When he was approached by members of the Redbridge Community Policing Team (RCPT) he was found with a knife, arrested and charged.
A spokesman for Redbridge Police said: “The 17-year-old male in Claybury Park was suspected to be dealing drugs.
“He was stopped by officers and was arrested, interviewed and charged with possession of an offensive weapon after we found him with a lock knife.”
