A 22-YEAR-OLD was rushed to hospital after reports of a shooting.
Police were called to reports of a shooting in Tiptree Crescent, Clayhall, at around 10pm on Saturday (August 27).
When officers got to the scene near Clayhall Avenue, they found no victim.
They were then called to an east London hospital where officers claim “the 22-year-old male victim had presented himself to medical staff”.
His injuries are not considering to be life threatening and he was arrested on suspicion of drug offences.
He has since been bailed and investigations into the shooting are ongoing.
This is the second shooting reported in Redbridge this month, following the one at Loxford Park in Ilford on August 8 when an 11-year-old boy and 40-year-old man were injured.
