A woman has been charged with drink driving after a crash which left another woman with a serious neck injury.
Yvonne De Graaf, 31, has also been charged with driving without insurance and careless driving, after the early morning collision on the M11 near Theydon Bois on Sunday June 19.
Ms De Graaf, a trainer and television producer from Grove Park, Bishop’s Stortford, was driving a silver Honda Civic which collided with a black Toyota Prius at about 12.55am.
The Prius then collided with the central reservation.
The Honda also collided with a black Toyota Verso, which collided with the central reservation then the left barrier.
A passenger in the Verso, a woman aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital with a serious neck injury.
Another two cars, a silver Nissan X-Trail and a blue BMW 3 Series, collided with the rear of the other three vehicles.
Ms De Graaf has been bailed to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court on October 5.
