Weather

It’s set to be another very warm day today before temperatures drop tomorrow. A high of 28°C is expected this afternoon, compared to a forecast of 18°C for Friday. Some clouds are expected to set in from 6pm today.

A weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Greater London, with the potential for slow-moving, thundery showers to cause flash flooding in affected areas.

Tube

7.16am: There is currently a good service on all Tube, Overground and TfL Rail services in the area.

Travel

7.17am: There is heavy traffic anticlockwise on the M25 between junction 26 in Waltham Abbey and junction 25 in Enfield.

Traffic is queuing on the M11 southbound between junction five in Loughton and junction four in Woodford.

There is queuing traffic on the A406 North Circular Road southbound between South Woodford and Redbridge Roundabout. There is also heavy traffic westbound on the A406 in Woodford between Waterworks Corner and Crooked Billet Underpass. Traffic is queuing on the road westbound in Palmers Green.

Traffic is queuing on the A12 into towns in Gants Hill between the Beehive Junction and the Redbridge Roundabout.
