POLICE are hunting five males who fled from a house converted into a cannabis factory.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning (September 21) officers were alerted to four men, with their faces covered, trying to break into a house in Ainslie Wood Road, in Chingford.
A fifth separate male also fled the home as police arrived on the scene.
The four men escaped arrest but the police did discover a cannabis factory in the upstairs of the home being broken into.
Investigations are ongoing as officers seek to find the house’s owner and occupants.
Police request the public stay vigilant as more cannabis factories are believed to be in the area.
