Two people were trapped in their vehicles after a crash between two lorries and a car.

Four crews from Essex Fire and Rescue Service attended after the collision on the M25 between junction 27 near Epping and junction 28 in Brentwood, at 9pm last night (September 26).

Firefighters worked with paramedics to free two people by 10.06pm, leaving them in the care of the ambulance service.

The patients were treated at the scene by the East of England Ambulance Service before being taken to Queens Hospital in Romford with minor injuries.
