A lorry driver was flown to hospital after he crashed into a tree in a rural road.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance was scrambled yesterday (September 28) after the collision in Banks Lane, in Theydon Garnon near Epping, shortly before 2.37pm.
Officers from Essex Police found the white Mitsubishi Canter lorry blocking the road after it collided with a tree.
The driver was treated for a head and neck injury by paramedics from two ambulances, the air ambulance and an ambulance officer.
The man was flown to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel for treatment.
