St Barnabas Church Hall in Walthamstow
A CHURCH hall will be transformed into a pop-up pub to celebrate Oktoberfest.
The festival will take place at St Barnabas Church’s Stafford Hall in St Barnabas’ Road, Walthamstow.
Beers from East London Brewery and Signature Brewery in Leyton and the Wild Card Brewery in Walthamstow will be on sale, including Wild Hop beer, made from hops grown in Walthamstow.
Traditional German cuisine will also be on sale and there will be live music and a DJ.
Cash raised from the festival will go towards restoring the church hall.
The three day event, which is in its third year, has free entry and will run from start at 6pm this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
