STAR hockey-playing pupils put an Olympian through his paces on pitches made famous at the London 2012 games.
Hockey teams from Chingford Foundation School, in Nevin Drive, were delighted to meet Team GB's Ashley Jackson, a star of the Rio Olympics.
The lucky students tested the midfielder’s skills during the Schools Hockey Festival at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, in the Olympic Park yesterday (October 5).
After taking on Chingford’s finest, Ashley said: “Hockey is my passion and I hope that the youngsters will leave today’s event fired up and inspired to continue to play.
“And we may even see some of them represent our country in the future.”
