Hordes of “manic” teenagers swamped a forest hotel minutes after global superstar Justin Bieber finished his dinner.

The Canadian singer enjoyed a glass of milk followed by salmon and mash at the Kings Oak in High Beach last night (October 13), chatting with staff and his 10-strong security team.

Shortly after he left, managers said it became “crazy” as fans raced to see where he sat, took the water bottle he drank from and burst into tears after learning he had already left.

The performer, who is set to perform at The 02 in London tonight and tomorrow (October 14 and 15), walked in the surrounding Epping Forest before and after dinner, asking staff the best routes to follow after enjoying his first stroll.

Dining room manager Lyndsey King, 23, spoke to the “very polite” singer in the hotel’s gastropub, discussing his tour and Canadian ice hockey.

Speaking to the Epping Forest Guardian at the hotel in Paul’s Nursery Road, she said after his meal “he asked his security if they could go for another walk.

“I feel like in London, it’s a big place, but here he probably felt more comfortable to be more free, and that everyone wouldn’t run at him.

“He thought he would take the advantage of going for a walk and being himself.”

Bieber stayed at the hotel for about an hour, hugging and thanking staff before leaving.

After his entourage of five blacked-out people carriers left, it became clear that people had heard the news and were heading to High Beach.

“I can’t even explain how many young girls came up,” said Ms King.

“They were asking, what did he eat, where did he sit?

“We must have had more than 40 come up – groups of kids, groups of girls, even parents, it was crazy.”

She added: “It was a bit manic, they didn’t come to buy anything, they just came to see Justin Bieber.

“A lot of people couldn’t believe they had just missed him and were quite upset – a girl was crying.”

Despite selling out huge venues on the UK leg of his Purpose world tour, the 22-year-old singer’s bill was placed on the owner’s tab.

Speaking from Spain, Linzi Pollard said: “I am going to boast that I bought Justin Bieber dinner for the rest of my life – even though I wasn’t there!”
